"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp
Whetstone Park Rec Center rehab to cost $5.6 million!
May 10th, 2007 categories: Clintonville
The city will now build an 8,300 square foot addition to the rec Center at Whetstone Park to be open in about 16 months.
That’s a lot of rec center. And, I think, pretty agressive. It was supposed to be only a 6,000 sq ft addition to cost 2.25 MM originally. It’s that damn Multipurpose room!
The plan is to close the Barber Roselea Senior Center and move all their programs in the new rec center.
We’re not even talking about fitness room equipment or furniture for the common areas here. A splinter group, Whetstone Renovation Initiative, is trying to raise that money from the community. Here is a link to the findings of their survey regarding what Clintonville Residents wanted in a new facility.
