Bronzeville Opportunities

IEdnat’s not every day that the City will practically hand you an investment opportunity and then, most likely, go out of their way to help you take the ball and run to renovate the buildings and improve a neighborhood — hopefully lining your pocket in the mean time.

In a new move for the city, they’ve posted video tours of both of the properties here so you know what you’re getting in to.

Here are two opportunities from the City of Columbus Department of Development that focus on the Long Street corridor just East of the Lincoln Theater.  The city, despite significant pressure from the neighborhood, decided to let these building lay open to the elements.  The Bronzeville Neighborhood Association took tours of both of these buildings a couple years ago at which time they were in much better shape and they begged the city to properly mothball and protect them.  The City didn’t, but now they are willing to make a deal with someone with a plan to bring back the apartment building and the brick 2 story store fronts known as “The Edna”.
