"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan, March 08
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp, Feb 08
Olde Towne East High End Homes for Sale
July 25th, 2007 categories: Olde Towne East, Real Estate News
You may be surprised to find out that right now the Greater Olde Towne East-Woodland Park-Bronzeville-Franklin Park area has 20 properties over $300,000 on the market.
That includes the 12,000 sq ft mansion in contract on the corner of Broad and Woodland across from Franklin Park and Park Towers respectively. It’s been on the market pretty much since September 2005 and it’s currently listed at $1.1 million.
But $869,900 on Franklin Park South?
Every time I run across this Franklin Park South listing, I don’t know what to make of it. 869K? I’ve been in the home since it hit the market twice. The Historic Hanna house at 1021 East Broad with 7300 sq ft is listed at $649,900.
Sure the Franklin Park South listing has 5 bedrooms, 2 full, 2 half baths and a nice pool and it sits right across from Franklin Park at a perfect spot in the water feature creek, but I will be surprised if this house would sell, in this market, for anything more than half today’s list price.
Contact me to see any Olde Towne East property. I’m happy to help and it’s never too early to start the home hunting process if you’re serious and motivated.

Great blogging Joe! Thanks for the entertainment. I also wondered about the pricing of that property when I reviewed the listing. Only time and the market will tell!
