"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp
Columbus Real Estate August Recap - Clintonville Solds
September 5th, 2007 categories: Clintonville, Real Estate News
Not a bad month for Clintonville Real Estate. A total of 47 homes sold in Clintonville in the month of August.
- THIRTY of them were under $210,000 if you think that you can’t afford Clintonville. Although it’s true that 11 of those 30, in typical Clintonville fashion, only had TWO bedrooms.
- The least expensive was an $87,000 two bedroom on East Kelso. It was just over 1,000 sq feet and in great need of rehab, little more than a shack, really.
- The least expensive home in Clintonville in August, otherwise, was a 3 bed, one bath 1101 sq ft home in the 600 block of Clinton Heights that sold, in five days, for $132,900. Reall pretty cute for the price.
- The most expensive was a 3 bed, 2.5 bath home tucked away on Dominion off Colerain. It was a 2240 sq ft 4–level split that I did the have the occasion to show and I’ll tell you it wasn’t so much the home that sold it, but the lot—Really, really nice gardens and paths and wooded front yard and a decent florida room and deck. Very cute 85X220 lot. It was listed at $437,500 and August’s most expensive home in Clintonville sold for $400,000 even.
- I know you’re curious, so I’ll tell you that 111 Oakland Park sold for $397,000 last month after being listed at $429,900. I showed this house too and it was a great house with a somewhat awkward floor plan. It had 4 bedrooms and 2900 sq ft but only 1.5 baths.
- Homes sold in Clintonville averaged $139.18/sq ft
- 1,440 sq ft and $200,424
- 96.74% of list price

Hey Joe,
How long did it take the 400K home to go?
Nice place you got here. Never stopped being interested in real estate since I bought my last home. All the news lately makes it an interesting economic indicator.
