Bexley Hydrant Flushing

Did you know that if you map your property at the county auditor's site, it'll tell you how far away from a hydrant you areThe City of Bexley will be flushing Hydrants throughout Bexley.

From the city of Bexley Website: The Bexley Water Department has begun flushing fire hydrants and conducting fire flow testing on all of the fire hydrants in the City of Bexley.  The crew will be working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Please check this website for daily for updates and schedules.

Individual water service may be discolored for a short time during the flushing program.  Although the water may be cloudy, it is safe to drink.  However, we advise residents not to wash clothing if the water is discolored.  Run the cold water for several minutes until the water is clear before doing laundry.  Your water pressure may be low for a short period of time due to the flushing of the hydrants.

Please call the Bexley Water Department at 559-4270 for further assistance.
