"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp
Columbus Real Estate Update - August - Bexley Real estate
September 10th, 2007 categories: Bexley
The summer in Bexley wasn’t bad. 21 Homes sold in Bexley in August compared to 23 in July and 26 in June. So, the big summer months saw 70 homes exchange hands in Bexley from June 1 to August 31.
In August, the least expensive home was a 792 sq ft home on Allegheny with two bedrooms, one bath and a finished basement for $100,000. It’s small, but it counts, it’s Bexley Schools, it had a home warranty, new windows and a 120 ft lot.
The most expensive home that sold in Bexley in August was a 4256 sq ft 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath brick 46 year old cape on 1.23 acres on South Columbia for $1.1MM. This home came on the market 373 days ago at $1.15MM.
August’s 19 other homes that sold in Bexley averaged:
a mere $152.43/sq ft and 2239 sq feet on average
a short 87 days on the market
$341,248 or 95.9% of the last list price
A 2nd floor 2 bed, 2.5 bath Dawson Place condo with 2023 sq ft sold for $550,000 last month. Still some left if you’re interested, condos fees at this unit were listed at $200/mo.
My favorite Bexley home that sold last month Probably 255 S Drexel. For various reasons I’ve always liked that home and was surprised when it didn’t sell in 2004 when it was listed at $639,000. It sold for $670K last month after a mere 57 days on the market. They’d redone the kitchen since the last time I was in it and it looked great. I always wonder about Drexel Avenue homes. Should they take a hit for being on a busy street They always seem to do well. What’s your thought
2250 E Broad sold for $500,000 after coming on the market in March at $650,000. For good reasons though.
