"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp
The Strip of Hip opens to 2-way traffic
November 7th, 2007 categories: Columbus News, Downtown
Gay Street and the City of Columbus have wrapped a nearly $8 million project spanning six months that opens Gay Street to two-way traffic. It seems like a long, long time ago, the West side of Gay street was supposed to be involved in that project also. I don’t like that it dead ends at Front Street behind the Police HQ. That needs to be opened and two way also, but I’m guessing in this post 9–11 world, that may take a while.
drivers now have east- and west-bound access - several additions for pedestrians including —
- rebuilt traffic signals
- upgraded infrastructure
- creating landscaped medians and trees
- decorative light poles in the corridor
- new curbs and sidewalks
- new traffic pattern should make vehicles travel slower
- revised crosswalks require pedestrians to cross a shorter distance

The project, which cost an estimated $7.7 million, is part of the city’s larger move to give downtown a neighborhood feel.
