"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp
Olde Towne East Homes for Sale / Sold - November Update
December 10th, 2007 categories: Olde Towne East

Do you have your Olde Towne East home for sale? Are you frustrated that they buyers seem to have dried up. Me too. Take a look at this map that details where the 8 homes were that sold last month on the Near East Side.
The highlighted area is more or less what I consider the Greater Olde Towne East area for the purposes of this blog, though I often include most of Greater Bronzeville which goes north to Mt Vernon Avenue. Nothing in Olde Towne East proper, Nothing from Broad to Long or up and down Eastwood Ave or Woodland Park and one home in the Franklin Park area, nothing on Bryden Road or from Bryden to Main streets.
The home in the Franklin Park area had 3 bedrooms and over 1600 sq ft. It was a bank short sale for a crazy $67,000 — even if it does back up to the RR tracks.
The good news is that there are 213 active listings between Downtown Columbus and Bexley, 670 and I-70. Come pick yours while the picking is good.

I was just wondering what Old Towne East is all about. I’m a grad student and will be looking for a home in about two years. Is this area on the way up? Is it safe? Just curious. Thanks

OTE is a fantastic neighborhood and yes, it’s on the upswing and has been for years. Lots of projects coming on the boards here, great sense of community, ideally situated and housing stock second to none in the city.
Take a drive down Broad Street, Bryden, Franklin and any of the North-South Streets some time.
