The Columbus Public Art Scene

the couch sculpture in the Long portion of the Short NorthAbout a month ago the Dispatch ran an article which I can’t find now about how the city really doesn’t have any sort of catalog regarding our public art pieces and locations.

For close to a year now, I’ve had a flickr page attempting to do pretty much just that.  It’s open for your pictures of public art in your neighborhoods.  I haven’t been updating the site as much as I’d hoped, but I take pictures of public art to post whenever I find myself in the vicinity.

The Aids Hope Sculpture at Franklin ParkYour help is always appreciated.  The permanent link to the site is over on the left sidebar.  It’s the giant ART sign at CCAD, you can’t miss it.  Here are two of the pictures I’m uploading now.
