"As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the entire process. Step by step, Joe made it easy and fun. His expertise in the Columbus real estate market is a tremendous asset. He is highly recommended!" - Nicolette Horan, March 08
"I wanted to say thank you again, so much, for all your hard work. I know that you really put a lot of time into this transaction and I really, really appreciate it. I'm so happy I got the house and it all worked out and I just wanted to say thanks again, you did a great job and i really appreciate it. I will put that on the survey when they send it to me.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to give me a call. I will refer every single person I know to you. I'm going to go get my dog and we're going to sit on the floor of our new house and have a glass of champaign. Thanks a lot Joe" -- Michael Mamp, Feb 08
You Have to Walk Around Your Potential New Columbus Neighborhood to Get a Real Feel
January 26th, 2008 categories: For Home Buyers, Real Estate News
You’ve narrowed down your favorite Columbus Neighborhoods in which you’re considering buying a home.
You love spending weekends just driving around those neighborhoods and looking at the architecture, going to open houses, checking the mileage to the school, church and park. Don’t just drive around!
Stop the car and get out and WALK around your potential new Neighborhood.
Walk around the block. Walk around the next block. Walk to the corner cafe. Have a beer at the corner bar or restaurant. Check the sidewalk and see if it’ll accommodate your new stroller. Take a closer look at the parking signs, the neighbor’s lawns, the views, the walk-ability. Smell the smells. Taste the local fare.
You want your new home to not just look like home, but to feel like home too. Still love your new Columbus Neighborhood? Come back at night. How does it change in the dark? Come back on the weekend. Are neighbors walking to the park, playing in their yard, digging in their garden or improving their facades?
No community is perfect, but don’t forget that where you live is not just about the four walls surrounding you everyday.

Great advice Joe.
A little due diligence like this that can make a huge difference in how much a buyer enjoys their new home & neighborhood. It is also expertise like this that more home buyers in the Columbus area can use.
Keep up the good work.
